INTRODUCTION AND RULES
Welcome to The Bad Batch Fantasy League – the only game that merges two popular interests: Fantasy Sports and The Bad Batch!
BUILDING A TEAM
It’s easy to play! There are 35 League characters in 9 groups from which to choose.
First, select one character from each group to build your team. Then, send an e-mail with your team name and player selections (one character per group – 9 total) with the subject line “Bad Batch” to fantasyleaguegeek@gmail.com before the premiere of season 3 of The Bad Batch on February 21, 2024. Limit one entry per e-mail address.
Along with your selections, please include your guess for the total run-time (in minutes and seconds) of The Bad Batch season three finale.
If two or more teams finish in a tie, the team with the highest single episode score will be the winner. If there is still a tie, the team with the 2nd (then 3rd through 15th, if necessary) highest single episode score will be the winner. If two or more teams are identical, the team that guesses closest to the total run-time of the season three finale will be the winner.
Fantasy League Geek will post updates after each episode with current standings, scores, and more!

SCORING POINTS
Points will be awarded or deducted according to the categories below. Fantasy League Geek will be the final judge in all scoring decisions.
Anything occurring in a “Previously on The Bad Batch” recap segment at the beginning of an episode does not count for points. Anything seen in concept art at the end of an episode does not count for points. Only the events occurring within the episode (after the show and episode title and before “Created by Dave Filoni” appears in the star field) will count for points.
ATTENDANCE POINTS
APPEARS IN AN EPISODE (+1 point)
League characters who appear in an episode are awarded 1 point. To receive these points, they must be physically present or appear in either a hologram or still image.
APPEARS AS A HOLOGRAM (+2 points)
League characters who appear on screen as a hologram will be awarded 2 points.
APPEARS IN POST-CREDIT SCENE (+3 points)
In the event of a post-credit scene, an exception to the ‘within the episode’ rule will be implemented. Any character appearing in a post-credit scene (i.e., The Book Of Boba Fett tease in Chapter 16 of The Mandalorian) will be awarded 3 points. Post-credit scenes will not be eligible to earn ‘First’ or ‘Final’ points, but will be awarded, or penalized, points based on all other actions, visits, encounters, etc.
FIRST AND FINAL POINTS
FIRST ON SCREEN (+5 points)
The first League character to appear on screen in an episode will be awarded 5 points. First On Screen points can be shared by more than one League character.

FINAL ON SCREEN (+5 points)
The final League character to appear on screen will be awarded 5 points. Final On Screen points can be shared by more than one League character.
FINAL LINE (+5 points)
The final League character to speak a line of dialogue will be awarded 5 points. Crying, groaning, and screaming do not count as a line of dialogue. The final intelligible spoken line—in Basic or any other language, subtitled or not—will be awarded points.

- Slave 1 (+3 points)
- Twin Suns (sunrise, sunset, and anything in between) (+4 points)
- Death Star (+5 points)
An encounter begins the first time any League character is seen on screen with any of the above. To end an encounter, a character must establish a visible presence away from it.
VISITS
A League character approaching in a ship, or established to be present, at the following planets, will be awarded points.
- Weyland (+1 point)
- Pabu (+1 point)
- Ord Mantell (+1 point)
- Lothal (+2 points)
- Ryloth (+2 points)
- Coruscant (+2 points)

A visit will be considered finished when the League character leaves the planet or the episode ends.
(Example #1: Omega visits Weyland in episode 1 and has not left the planet at the start of episode 2. She is awarded 1 point for visiting Weyland in Episode 1 and also awarded 1 point for visiting Weyland in episode 2.)
(Example #2: Omega visits Weyland in episode 1. She leaves the planet to visit Ord Mantell and returns to Weyland before the end of episode 1. She is awarded 2 points for visiting Weyland twice, plus 1 point for visiting Ord Mantell.)
GAMES

MISCELLANEOUS POINTS
THE FORCE (+1 POINT)
Any League character who uses the Force in a clear, demonstrable way will be awarded 1 point.

Any League character who wields a lightsaber will be awarded 1 point.
A lightsaber will be considered wielded when the blade is ignited. A saber handle present in a scene, hanging from a belt, sheathed, or un-activated, will not be awarded points. Wielding can continue across scenes. A saber must be extinguished, then re-ignited, to score additional points. Igniting both blades of a double-bladed lightsaber will be awarded 2 points.
WIPE TRANSITION (+2 POINTS)
George Lucas used classic wipes to transition between scenes in his Star Wars movies and The Bad Batch has continued this brand of film editing technique.
Any League character who is on screen during the first wipe transition of an episode will be awarded 2 points.
Any league character who is on screen during the final wipe transition of an episode will be awarded 2 points.
TECHNICALLY SPEAKING
THE DEAD SPEAK! (+1 point)
Sadly, the Clone Trooper known as Tech fell to his death in the season two finale of The Bad Batch. He is gone, but not forgotten. Any League character who says Tech’s name will be awarded 1 point. This must be a direct reference to the character named Tech – not a reference to machine tech-nology.
SOMEHOW, TECH RETURNED (+2 points)
Any League character who is seen on screen with Tech will be awarded 2 points.

The death of a League character will result in a 6-point deduction.
