Part Eight: The Jedi, The Witch, And The Warlord
Hey Ahsoka fans!
The explosive season finale of Ahsoka, titled The Jedi, The Witch, And The Warlord finished with the third highest point total of the season: 122. Sabine Wren led the scoring for the first time this season with 23 points, despite incurring a -1 point penalty for removing her helmet.
In the eighth episode, 13 League Characters scored points for their team. This episode also featured the first points of the season for encountering a Force Ghost and a -4 point penalty for the death of Group 5 character Morgan Elsbeth. I’ll include a scene-by-scene recap of all the scoring below, but first let’s get right to the Week 8 standings.

Congratulations to Soup Ahsokas who finished in first place for the fourth time this season and scored the highest single week point total of the season with 84.5. Soup Ahsoka’s scoring lineup incuded Ahsoka Tano (even) (18.5 points), Sabine Wren (23 points), Baylan Skoll (2.5 points), Grand Admiral Thrawn (16.5 points), Morgan Elsbeth (11 points), and Anakin Skywalker (15 points).
In second place this week is GoForPapaPalpatine with 70.5 points and a scoring lineup of Sabine Wren (23 points), Shin Hati (3.5 points), Grand Admiral Thrawn (16.5 points), Huyang (13.5 points), Anakin Skywalker (15 points), and Kanan Jarrus (0.5 points).
In third place for the third consecutive week is Beggars Canyon Bullies with 58 points and a scoring lineup of Ahsoka Tano (even) (18.5 points), Sabine Wren (23 points), Shin Hati (3.5 points), and Ezra Bridger (16 points).
In last place this week is nWo with 31.5 points and a scoring lineup of Hera Syndulla (2 points), Baylan Skoll (2.5 points), Ezra Bridger (16 points), Morgan Elsbeth (11 points), and Chopper (2 points).
Important Scoring Note
Near the end of the episode, Baylan Skoll appears onscreen with a statue of the Mortis gods. Consistent with the precedent set earlier this season, in which characters did not score encounter points for appearing onscreen with drawings of loth-wolves or loth-cats, Baylan will not be awarded encounter points for appearing onscreen with a sculpture of the Mortis gods.
Scoring Recap
The episode opens on the Chimaera hovering above the temple on Peridea. Grand Admiral Thrawn, Captain Enoch, and Morgan Elsbeth all score 5 points for appearing first in the episode. All three also score 1 point for visiting Peridea, 1 point for appearing in the episode, and 0.5 points for encountering Night Troopers. Morgan scores 5 points for speaking the first line of dialogue: “Grand Admiral, the cargo transfer is complete.” The Great Mothers say Morgan’s name, giving her 0.5 points, and initiate her into their order, presenting her with the blade of Talzin. The scene ends with the show and episode title.
In the next scene, the Noti caravan treks across the terrain of Peridea, with the T-6 shuttle flying above as an escort. Ezra Bridger constructs a lightsaber with Huyang’s help, and Sabine observes from the doorway. All three score 1 point for appearing in the episode and 1 point for visiting Peridea. Ezra scores 0.5 points for igniting the newly constructed lightsaber. Huyang scores 1 point for saying the phrase “The Empire” and 1 point for saying the name of the planet Mandalore. Ahsoka and Sabine are name-dropped four times, scoring 2 points each. Thrawn and Huyang are both mentioned by name once and both score 0.5 points. Kanan Jarrus is name-dropped twice, giving Ezra’s former master 1 point. The scene ends with a wipe transition and both Ezra and Huyang score 0.5 points for appearing onscreen.
Sabine and Ahsoka score 0.5 points for appearing during the second half of the same transition. Ahsoka scores 1 point for appearing in the episode and 1 point for visiting Peridea. Two TIE fighters dispatched by Thrawn fire on the T-6 and badly damage it. Ezra and Ahsoka use the Force to keep the shuttle afloat, scoring 0.5 points each, before Sabine repairs the engine and rams the TIE fighters, destroying them. Anakin Skywalker, Ezra, and Sabine are all name-dropped and each score 0.5 points. Ezra and Huyang score 0.5 points for appearing onscreen during the wipe transition that ends the scene.
Thrawn and Enoch score 0.5 points for appearing onscreen during the second half of the same transition that starts the next scene. Both also score 0.5 points for appearing onscreen for the wipe transition that ends the scene.
Ahsoka, Sabine, and Ezra are onscreen for the second half of the same wipe transition that starts the next scene and all three score 0.5 points. Huyang scores 1 point for saying the phrase “May The Force Be With You” to them as they ride Howlers toward the temple.
In the next scene, Thrawn scores 1 point for saying the phrase “The Empire.”
Huyang, Ezra, Thrawn, and Anakin Skywalker are all name-dropped during the next two scenes, scoring 0.5 points each.
Approaching on Howlers, and fired upon by the Chimaera, Ezra, Sabine, and Ahsoka each score 0.5 points for using the Force to force open the temple gate. Ezra and Sabine score 0.5 points when Ahsoka says their name.
Ahsoka, Ezra, and Sabine encounter Night Troopers in the lower level of the temple, scoring 0.5 points each. Ezra and Sabine score 0.5 points for igniting their lightsabers and Ahsoka scores 1 point for igniting both of hers. Ahsoka scores 0.5 points for using the Force to throw troopers across the room and Ezra scores 1 point for using the Force twice to push one trooper away and then pull two into Ahsoka’s blades. Sabine scores 0.5 points when Ahsoka says her name.
The Great Mothers re-animate the corpses of the Night Troopers. In their second engagement, Ezra and Sabine re-ignite their lightsabers, scoring 0.5 points each. Ahsoka scores 1 point for re-igniting both of her lightsabers. Ezra and Sabine score 0.5 points each when their names are said.
In the next scene, Thrawn scores 1 point for saying the phrase “The Empire” again and Morgan scores 1 point for saying the name of the planet Dathomir. Thrawn, Enoch, and Morgan all score 0.5 points for encountering Death Troopers.
Ahsoka duels Morgan and name-drops Thrawn, giving him 0.5 points. Sabine and Ezra continue toward the roof to stop Thrawn and they encounter Death Troopers, scoring 0.5 points each. The Death Trooper removes Sabine’s helmet and she is penalized -1 point. Sabine and Ezra both score 0.5 points for using the Force to call their lightsaber to their hand. They also both ignite their lightsaber to kill the Death Troopers attacking them, each scoring another 0.5 points.
Ezra scores 0.5 points for using the Force to assist his leap from the top of the tower to the Chimaera and Sabine scores 0.5 points for using the Force to push him the rest of the way. Ezra uses the Force again to leap from the ledge into the docking bay, scoring 0.5 points. He also scores 0.5 points for encountering Night Troopers on the Chimaera. Ezra scores 1 point when Sabine says his name twice and Sabine scores 1.5 points when he says hers three times.
Ahsoka and Morgan’s duel leads them to the roof of the tower and Ahsoka scores 0.5 points for encountering the dead body of a Death Trooper. Sabine ignites her lightsaber to assist her Master, scoring 0.5 points. Ahsoka kills Morgan, who incurs a -4 point penalty for dying.
The Great Mothers say Morgan’s name, giving her 0.5 points. Thrawn scores 0.5 points for encountering Enoch, captain of the Night Troopers, on the Eye Of Sion and Enoch also scores 0.5 points for encountering himself.
Ahsoka and Sabine leap from the roof of the crumbling tower after Thrawn orders the Chimaera to bombard it. They ignite their lightsabers on the roof of the T-6, scoring 0.5 points each. Ezra is name-dropped once, scoring 0.5 points.
The T-6 races away from Peridea toward the Eye Of Sion. Thrawn opens a channel and says Ahsoka’s name, giving her 0.5 points. Thrawn scores 1 point for saying the phrase “The Empire.” Thrawn and Enoch both score 2 points when the Eye of Sion enters hyperspace.
Sabine, Ahsoka, and Huyang return to the surface of Peridea, and each score 1 point for visiting it again. Ahsoka scores 1.5 points for encountering Morai. She also scores 0.5 points for appearing onscreen during the wipe transition that ends the scene.
Shin Hati appears onscreen for the second half of the same transition that starts the next scene, scoring 0.5 points. She scores 1 point for appearing in the episode, 1 point for visiting Peridea, and 0.5 points for igniting her lightsaber. She scores 0.5 points for appearing onscreen during the wipe transition that ends the scene.
Baylan Skoll scores 0.5 points for appearing onscreen during the second half of the same transition. He also scores 1 point for appearing in the episode and 1 point for visiting Peridea. He stands on the outstretched hand of a large statue of the Mortis gods, but does not score points for encountering the gods themselves.
Back in the more familiar galaxy, Captain Enoch scores 1 point for saying the name of the planet Dathomir. The Chimaera remains in orbit around Dathomir and no points are awarded for visiting the planet.
An ETA-class shuttle arrives in the hangar of Home One. Hera Syndulla and Chopper approach the ship and both score 1 point for appearing in the episode. They both score 0.5 points for encountering Ezra when he descends the ramp in Night Trooper armor. Ezra also scores 0.5 points for encountering himself in the armor. He is penalized -1 point when he removes his helmet. Hera and Ezra both score 0.5 points when they say each other’s name. Hera, Chopper, and Ezra all score 0.5 points for appearing onscreen during the wipe transition that ends the scene.
Huyang and Sabine score 0.5 points for appearing onscreen during the second half of the same transition. Thrawn is name-dropped once, scoring 0.5 points and Ezra is name-dropped twice, scoring 1 point. Sabine scores 4 points for speaking the final line of dialogue of the episode—and season: “Just shadows in the starlight.”
Anakin Skywalker scores 3 points for appearing as a Force Ghost and 5 points for encountering himself as a Force Ghost. Sabine, Ahsoka, and Huyang each score 5 points for encountering the Force Ghost of Anakin. Anakin scores 1 point for appearing in the episode and 1 point for visiting Peridea. He scores 4 additional points for being the final character to appear onscreen in the episode—and the season.
All characters who did not appear in the episode are penalized -0.5 points.

Congratulations to this year’s champion GoForPapaPalpatine, who dominated the Ahsoka Fantasy League, and finished more than 40 points ahead of the second place team, Soup Ahsokas, more than 90 points ahead of the third place team, nWo, and more than 150 points ahead of Beggars Canyon Bullies, who languished in last place all season long.
