Part Seven: Dreams And Madness
Hey Ahsoka fans!
The seventh episode of Ahsoka, titled Dreams And Madness, set a record high for points scored with 126.5. Senator Hamato Xiono led the scoring with 18.5 points, beating Ahsoka Tano by ½-point.
In this episode, a season high 15 League Characters scored points for their team, while 1 (Zeb Orrelios) finished with a net zero total after scoring 0.5 points and incurring a -0.5 point penalty. I’ll include a scene-by-scene recap of all the scoring below, but first let’s get right to the Week 7 standings.

Congratulations to nWo who finished in first place for the first time this season with 65 points and a scoring lineup of Ahsoka Tano (odd) (18 points), Hera Syndulla (14.5 points), Baylan Skoll (4.5 points), Ezra Bridger (16.5 points), Morgan Elsbeth (3 points), and Chopper (10 points),
In second place this week is GoForPapaPalpatine with 53 points and a scoring lineup of Ahsoka Tano (odd) (18 points), Sabine Wren (13.5 points), Shin Hati (4 points), Grand Admiral Thrawn (4.5 points), Huyang (4.5 points), Anakin Skywalker (3.5 points), and Carson Teva (6.5 points).
In third place for the second consecutive week is Beggars Canyon Bullies with 42.5 points and a scoring lineup of Sabine Wren (13.5 points), Shin Hati (4 points), Ezra Bridger (16.5 points), and Mon Mothma (11 points).
In last place for the first time this season is Soup Ahsokas with 27 points and a scoring lineup of Sabine Wren (13.5 points), Baylan Skoll (4.5 points), Grand Admiral Thrawn (4.5 points), Morgan Elsbeth (3 points), and Anakin Skywalker (3.5 points).
Scoring Recap
The episode opens on Coruscant where Here Syndulla faces a potential court-martial for disobeying a direct order. Hera, Mon Mothma, Hamato Xiono, and Chopper all score 5 points for appearing first onscreen. The same four also score 1 point each for appearing in the episode, and 4 points each for visiting the planet Coruscant. Hamato Xiono scores 5 points for speaking the first line of dialogue: “We simply cannot allow a General of the New Republic Security Forces to go around acting like this is still a Rebellion.” Xiono scores 2 points for twice saying the phrase “New Republic” and Hera scores 1 point for saying it once.
Carson Teva arrives late to court and scores 1 point for appearing in the episode and 4 points for visiting Coruscant. He scores 1 point for saying the name of the planet Mandalore and Mon Mothma scores 1 point for saying the name of the planet Seatos. Hera is name-dropped six times, scoring 3 points. Xiono’s name is mentioned 3 times, giving him 1.5 points. Grand Admiral Thrawn is name-dropped twice, giving him 1 point. Carson Teva and Morgan Elsbeth’s names are said once, giving each 0.5 points. The scene ends with the show and episode title.
On the T-6, inside the mouth of the purrgil, Ahsoka Tano trains with her lightsabers under the tutelage of Anakin Skywalker’s hologram. Ahsoka scores 1 point for appearing in the episode and 1 point for igniting both lightsabers. Anakin scores 1 point for appearing in the episode and 2 points for appearing as a hologram. Huyang enters the training area and scores 1 point for appearing in the episode. Ahsoka and Huyang enter the cockpit of the T-6, where both score 0.5 points for encountering purrgil and 2 points for entering hyperspace. Ahsoka’s name is said once, giving her 0.5 points and Sabine Wren is name-dropped three times, giving her 1.5 points. The purrgil drop out of hyperspace into a minefield around the planet Peridea. The purrgil jump into hyperspace again to escape the mines and Ahsoka pilots the T-6 into the debris field around the planet, evading pursuit from enemy starfighters launched from the Eye Of Sion.
In the next scene, Grand Admiral Thrawn, Captain Enoch, and Morgan Elsbeth all score 1 point for appearing in the episode. All three also score 1 point for visiting Peridea and 0.5 points for encountering Night Troopers. Enoch scores an additional 2 points for appearing as a hologram. Both Ahsoka and Anakin Skywalker score 0.5 points for being mentioned by name.
Ahsoka and Huyang hide the T-6 in the debris field around Peridea. Thrawn and Sabine Wren both score 0.5 points for being mentioned by name. Ahsoka scores 0.5 points for appearing onscreen during the wipe transition that ends the scene.
In the next scene, Ezra Bridger and Sabine Wren ride in a caravan with the native Noti. Both score 1 point for appearing in the episode and 1 point for visiting Peridea. Ezra scores 2 points for saying the phrases “The Empire” and “New Republic.” Sabine scores 1 point for saying the name of the planet Endor. Ahsoka is name-dropped twice, scoring 1 point, and both Hera and Zeb Orrelios are mentioned by name once, scoring 0.5 points each.
Baylan Skoll and Shin Hati locate the caravan and each score 1 point for appearing in the episode and 1 point for visiting the planet Peridea.
In the next scene, Thrawn asks the Great Mothers for assistance locating Ahsoka Tano. Ahsoka scores 0.5 points when Thrawn says her name.
Back on the T-6, Ahsoka uses the Force to sense Sabine’s location, scoring 0.5 points. Sabine also scores 0.5 points for using the Force to hear Ahsoka reaching out to her. The Great Mothers appear to use this interaction to triangulate Ahsoka’s position in the debris field. Thrawn orders the Eye of Sion to fire on them and flush them out of hiding. Captain Enoch scores 2 points for appearing as a hologram again and 0.5 points for being mentioned by name. Sabine is name-dropped five times, scoring 2.5 points, and Ahsoka is name-dropped twice, scoring 1 point.
Baylan, Shin, and the bandits prepare to attack the Noti caravan. Baylan parts ways with Shin, telling her his path lies in another direction. Thrawn, Sabine, and Shin all score 0.5 points for being mentioned by name. Ezra is name-dropped twice, scoring 1 point.
Thrawn dispatches two gunships to assist the attack on the caravan. Ezra and Baylan both score 0.5 points for being mentioned by name.
The caravan circles up to defend against the bandits, while Ahsoka and Huyang approach the planet in the T-6. Both score 1 point for visiting the planet Peridea. On the ground, Baylan confronts Ahsoka and scores 0.5 points for igniting his lightsaber. Ahsoka scores 1 point for igniting both of hers.
Ezra and Sabine engage the bandits. Ezra uses the Force three times to push the attackers, scoring 1.5 points. Shin and Sabine score 0.5 points for igniting lightsabers. Ezra scores 0.5 points for using the Force to push Shin’s lightsaber. The troop transports arrive and Shin scores 0.5 points for using the Force to throw Ezra against one of the Noti’s pod-shaped homes.
The T-6, and the starfighters pursuing it, disrupt the fight between Baylan and Ahsoka, allowing her to steal Baylan’s Howler and escape. Baylan reignites his lightsaber, scoring 0.5 points. He decides not to pursue Ahsoka, instead choosing to continue his quest toward the mysterious power on Peridea that is calling to him.
Ezra uses the Force to pull Sabine out of harm’s way, scoring 0.5 points. The Night Troopers deploy on the ground and Ezra, Sabine, and Shin all score 0.5 points for encountering them. Ahsoka arrives in time to help, also scoring 0.5 points for encountering the Night Troopers. She uses the Force twice: once to push the troopers and once to push Shin Hati, scoring 1 point. Ezra scores 1 point for twice using the Force to push the troopers.
Thrawn calls off the gunships and the aerial pursuit, accepting the losses, while ultimately achieving his goal by keeping his enemy distracted while his troops finish loading cargo onto the Chimaera. Baylan and Ahsoka are both name-dropped twice, scoring 1 point each. Shin retreats with the troopers.
Ezra, Sabine, and Ahsoka celebrate their victory and reunion. Ahsoka is mentioned by name one more time, scoring 0.5 points. Ezra scores 4 points for speaking the final line of dialogue: “I think I might be going home after all.” He, Sabine, and Ahsoka all score 4 points for appearing last onscreen.
All characters who did not appear in the episode are penalized -0.5 points.

In the overall standings, GoForPapaPalpatine maintained its iron grip on first place and nWo moved up into second place, leaping over Soup Ahsokas, who dropped into third. Beggars Canyon Bullies remained in last place for the seventh consecutive week.
