Chapter 22: Guns For Hire

Hey Fandalorians,

After the highest scoring episode of the season last week, this week’s chapter saw points drop to the second lowest total of the season with League Characters scoring 82 points. This episode saw the season debut of GROUP F character Koska Reeves and the first appearance by any character in GROUP H: Axe Woves. No points were scored for encounters for the second time this season and no points were scored for visits for the first time. No character said the word ‘beskar,’ so once again there were no points added to, or won from, the Beskar Jar. Below is a recap of all the points that were scored in Chapter 22: Guns For Hire.

Of the 25 League Characters competing in the Mandalorian Fantasy League this year, 5 scored points for their teams this week.

Back on top this week as the highest point scorer for the third time this season, is MANDO with 31.5 points. He scored 1 point for appearing in this week’s episode, 3 points for speaking the final line of dialogue, and 3 more points for appearing last onscreen (shared with Bo-Katan Kryze.) He said the phrase ‘I have spoken’ twice for 1.5 points each and the name of the planet Mandalore twice for 1 point each. More than half of his points came from appearing onscreen during eight wipe transitions for 16 total points. He held Grogu once for 0.5 points and ignited the Darksaber once for 3 points. Congratulations to everyone who picked MANDO in GROUP A this year!

The second leading point scorer this week is BO-KATAN KRYZE with 24.5 points. She scored 1 point for appearing in the episode and 3 points for appearing last onscreen with Mando while igniting the Darksaber for 3 more points. She said the phrase ‘Outer Rim’ once for 1.5 points and scored nearly two-thirds of her weekly total by appearing onscreen during eight wipe transitions for 16 points. She never wore her helmet in this episode, but didn’t incur a penalty because she was never seen removing it.

In third place this week, for the third time this season, is GROGU with 16.5 points. He scored 1 point for appearing in the episode and 4 more points for appearing onscreen during two wipe transitions. He was held once by the Duchess of Plazir-15, and once by Mando, scoring 2 total points. At the banquet table of the Duchess and Captain Bombardier, he ate a blue fish, scoring 3.5 points. The fish did not appear to be alive, unlike the one fed to the Quarren Captain Shuggoth who ran away with the Mon Calamari Viceroy’s son at the beginning of the episode, so the little green guy did not score the live, blue bonus point. He used the Force twice: once to leap into the arms of the Duchess and once to assist her in scoring a Quadro-blast in a field game, scoring 3 points each time for 6 total points.

Making his season debut in fourth place this week is AXE WOVES with 13.5 points. He appeared first onscreen (shared with Koska Reeves) for 5 points and delivered the first line of dialogue for 5 more points. He said the name of the planet Plazir-15 once for 1 point and the name of the planet Mandalore once for 1 more point. He sipped from a silver mug for 0.5 points before losing a challenge to Bo-Katan Kryze. He also scored 1 point for appearing in the episode.

Finishing in fifth place, and also making her season debut this week, is KOSKA REEVES with 6 points. She scored 1 point for appearing in the episode and 5 more points as the first League Character to appear onscreen (shared with Axe Woves.)

Every other League Character was penalized -0.5 points for not appearing in this episode.

How did the teams fare this week? Finishing in first place for the third time this season is MY CHAMPIONSHIP LINEUP with 52.5 points and a scoring lineup of MANDO and BO-KATAN KRYZE.

In second place this week, for the second time this season, is THE BEGGAR’S CANYON BULLIES with 44 points and a scoring lineup of GROGU, BO-KATAN KRYZE, and KOSKA REEVES.

In third place this week, for the second time this season, is THE NEVARRO NINE with 41.5 points and a scoring lineup of MANDO and AXE WOVES.

In fourth place for the second consecutive week is BLUE OREOS IN BLUE MILK with 37.5 points and a scoring lineup of GROGU and BO-KATAN KRYZE.

In last place for the third consecutive week is UNNAMED TEAM with 27.5 points and only MANDO scoring points.

In the overall standings, MY CHAMPIONSHIP LINEUP leaped from third place to first place this week, sending BLUE OREOS IN BLUE MILK into second place and THE NEVARRO NINE into third. THE BEGGAR’S CANYON BULLIES and UNNAMED TEAM remained in fourth and fifth place again this week.
