The Mandalorian Fantasy League Week 4 Recap

Chapter 20: The Foundling

Hey Fandalorians,

We’re halfway through Season 3 of The Mandalorian. Fittingly, all the points this week were scored by Mandalorians: Mando, Grogu, Bo-Katan, The Armorer and Paz Vizsla. We visited Coruscant again this week in the first flashback of the season and points were awarded for a montage for the first time. The Armorer said the word ‘beskar,’ but there were no points to be won in the Beskar Jar. Below is a recap of all the points scored in Chapter 20: The Foundling.

Of the 25 League Characters competing in the Mandalorian Fantasy League this year, 5 scored points for their teams this week.

The top point scorer this week for the first time this season was BO-KATAN KRYZE with 31 points. She scored 1 point for appearing in this week’s episode, 5 more for appearing first, and 3 more for appearing last. She appeared in a montage near the end of the episode when THE ARMORER created a new pauldron with a mythosaur signet to replace the one she lost in a mid-air scuffle, scoring 3 points. She said the phrase ‘This is the Way’ once for 1.5 points and the name of the planet Mandalore once for 1 point. She took a bite of food around the fire at the war party camp site for 0.5 points, but she had to remove her helmet to eat and was penalized -2 points. Most of BO-KATAN’S points came from being on screen during nine wipe transitions, scoring 18 total points. Congratulations to everyone who picked BO-KATAN KRYZE in GROUP C this year!

The second leading point scorer this week was THE ARMORER with 26 points. She scored 1 point for appearing in the episode and 3 points for both montages she appeared in: forging beskar steel for GROGU and BO-KATAN. She said the phrase ‘This is the Way’ twice for 1.5 points each, and 3 additional points because one of them was the final line of dialogue in the episode. She also said the name of the planet Mandalore once for 1 point. Like BO-KATAN, she gained a lot of her points by being on screen for six wipe transitions, scoring 12 total points.

In third place this week was GROGU with 24.5 points. He scored 1 point for appearing in the episode and 1 more for appearing in a flashback. The flashback occurred during a montage with The Armorer at the forge, scoring him 3 additional points, and he visited Coruscant during the flashback for 5 more points. He encountered a squad of clone troopers while escaping the Jedi Temple during Order 66 for 0.5 points, and entered hyperspace escaping the planet with Kelleran Beq for another 2 points. He used the Force to execute two acrobatic leaps during a dart challenge with a young Mandalorian apprentice, scoring 3 points each time for a total of 6 points. He was held twice in this episode for 1 point each and was on screen during two wipe transitions for 4 points.

The next leading point scorer this week, falling into fourth place, and out of the top two for the first time this season, was MANDO with 22.5 points. He scored 1 point for appearing in the episode and 5 more points for delivering the first line of dialogue. He said the phrase ‘This is the Way’ once for 1.5 points and held Grogu twice for 0.5 points each. Most of his points came from being on screen during seven wipe transitions, scoring 14 total points.

The only other character to score points this week was PAZ VIZSLA with 18 points. He remains the only character in GROUP F to score points for their team this year. He scored 1 point for appearing in the episode and 1.5 more points both times he said the phrase ‘This is the Way.’ Like others this week, he gained most of his points for being on screen during seven wipe transitions, scoring 14 total points.

Every other League Character was penalized -0.5 points for not appearing in this episode.
